We, Chilean people usually say ¨Pucha que es linda mi tierra¨ which means: ¨Damn, my land is beautiful! Often foreigners who hear us believe that we are just saying that due to high doses of Chilean wine glasses.
Well now, we are not the only ones who think our country is beautiful and the closest thing to paradise where you can develop tourism associated with natural and cultural resources.
This week, the prestigious “Adventure Tourism Development Index” developed by The George Washington University, Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and Vital Wave Consulting, ranked Chile 1st place within the developing countries as a destination for development of nature and adventure tourism.
Chile and Switzerland ranked first in their respective groups (Developing and Developed Countries). However, Chile scored higher than Switzerland in two pillars: Natural Resources and Image. Our coastline of 6,435 km gave our country a huge advantage in the Natural Resources pillar.
Other characteristics that put Chile in 1st place were our stable economy, wealth of adventure activities, and the conviction and dedication from our tourism boards on nature-based travel which on the long run reflects our vision of sustainable tourism development.
This great news gives our clients confidence and security to travel in Chile with us and that all their travel expectations will be met.
For all our key partners, this should also mean confidence, security and trust to keep on working with Amity Tours to create more adventure tourism in our beautiful country!
See you here, in Chile!
